We now have:

AND in addition, going out to just free fly:

Myself

Does anyone else fancy a fun weeks flying?

Bla Bla bla.... Brazil

Bla BLa BLA... Turkey.... Bla Bla

Give it a rest Wolfie. There should be yet another private forum for those with no Families/Jobs/Children/PETS/Normal Lives to shield those that are unable to attend such frivolousness trips away.

The winter still has a bitter grip on me which ales my constitution, I would ordinarily love to be happy for you all, but unfortunately I can not.

Humbug!

Steve, I have absolutley no desire to go to Turkey in September, especially with such a rag tag bunch of so called pilots........

But, as chairman of the club, I am willing to make the sacrifice required and travel out to |Turkey to supervise them, make sure they dont get lost, that they can find there way to the beach, and more importantly the bar, and generally do a bit of supervision....

It will give me no pleasure.

I will not get any fun from the flying

I will not enjoy sitting in Cloud9 bar watching there cockups ups on video for all to see......

:))

Good to hear that....

On seeing the list I must confess it did lift my heart a little, knowing there would be nothing missed what so ever.

I see more enjoyment to had at a funeral directors retirement party.

I hope you are able to cope without diving to much into the bottle.

Pity you're not coming with us to do the SIV course Steve.....Ahhh but then again you're going to Annecy and the Forclaz in April (Spring time in the Alps) to do your own SIV free of charge. I would recommend taking off before 8.30am and after 20.00 to miss most of those 25 ups. :dealer:

Paragliding Insurance

Post by John Wallis »

Just sorting out the holiday insurance for the trip to Turkey and my usual adventure sports insurance (Snow Card.com) doesn't list hang or paragliding. Who do you guys use? Is the BHPA (Airsports) any good.

I use Select insurance (link off Northern Paragliding website). Pretty cheap and I've tested them!! and they were pretty reasonable

Sounds great but what is the likely cost for me and a posible ground support member (er indoors)?
I'll never be this young again!
