Club BBQ 2017 Milkhope 02/09/2017

Post by colin keightley »

I think the general consensus lately is that spending club funds on social events and such, is a waste of our bank balance. So someone has worked hard in securing funding to pay for Milkhope. So as the title suggests it has been booked for 2nd September.

So bring your own drink and Food, charcoal will be provided. The Big breakfast will be provided also.

This will be open to everyone, members, partners, children, farmers, old friends, and neighbouring clubs. Anyone with anything musical then bring it along.

We will however have a donation tub with the aim of paying for next years event, with the hope that the BBQ will be self sufficient. So bring money and I will be reminding you guys closer to the time to have some change in your wallets.

Hot running water and electricity, there are around 20 bunks across 2 shared rooms for those who need them (please put your name below to reserve one), loads of room for tents and limited room for vans.

Hopefully it might be the year to get a fly.

Sounds like a great event, but it's the Lindisfarne music festival weekend, I'm there with a group of friends, got the tickets, sorry to miss the BBQ. Hope you all have lots of fun though! :)

Unfortunately, I am going to have to cancel attending the club barbeque due to family concerns. Have a good one.

Well what a great venue and just a fantastic day and night. Even the bunks were super comfy though a few hours extra sleep might of been good. With a great breakfast as usual Nina. I think the whole day with people helping with retrieved and some good old camawaderi it's not just the flying that makes a great day😀
