as we are in the winter season and often there is little flying do you think there is any real point to this for marginal flying?
sometimes people are awarded this based on good comradeship as appose to out right flying.
as for example at the weekend i seen Brian run back down the hill to carry johns glider up the hill.

then after that i watched Graeme Gilroy help john up the next section and made sure he got of safely.

these acts in themselves would get my vote anytime as without this type of comradeship life would have been so much more difficult.

i think though there has been some ups and downs i believe are club still the most helpful to others even if we do take the piss :D
