From Milkhope which seems better than ever now

Post by John Wallis »

Good morning all,

On behalf of the Friends of Milkhope, can I thank you all for your custom in booking Milkhope during 2016, we very much appreciate your support and hope that you will visit again in 2017.

We have had a great year and bookings have been better than ever (we have had a great run of bookings from April which has extended use through to 11 December this year). Once again, we have been able to invest even more than we expected into the facility. For those who haven't been for a while, we have installed the following:
New water tank/pumphouse
Water filter to allow water to be used straight from the tap.
New hot water tank and immersion heater.
Radiators to the bedrooms and toilet block.
New ceiling and insulation to the lounge/kitchen ceiling.
Bigger multi-fuel stove to the lounge/kitchen.
New generator which users don't need to touch at all, as it kicks in itself when batteries are low.
We achieved Charitable status as "The Friends of Milkhope" in January and we have committed to a new 10 year lease.

If you are interested in making a booking then please contact Alan or I and we will make the arrangements. Several bookings have already been made for 2017. I have attached a copy of the booklet and booking form.

I look forward to hearing from you and thanks once again for your support. For information, this e-mail is also being sent to 32 individuals/groups who have used Milkhope at least once this year.

Kind regards

I would propose that we set a week aside now
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country
