well a good turn out with some good and also interesting conditions, certainly good for the heart rate. had 2 good flights with decent height gains with the odd bump in the air followed by a third flight where the wind went off to the south west and certainly got interestingly rough. still made for a nice day out and a nce coffee in the local pub

cheers Gary

Hi Gary, I'm not surprised to read it got interesting when the wind went off to the south west ! you are being rotored.. The old site guide (paper file) its noted as a safety issue and the old web site it was noted there as well.

We need to get this safety issue noted in the new web site guide asap.

The wind had been mainly square on the hill and we had had a few good flights. When we took off it very quickly changed and went off to the SW and very quickly it went decidedly unpleasant. So we all landed as soon as we could, so don't think anyone would have chosen to have flown if the wind was this direction before taken off.

Still worth a note on the sites guide... I will have it added.
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country
