Speedflying Marske by the Sea

Post by Chris L »

You know its catching on this speedflying business. 8)
25mph wind stopped everyone else from flying

Here is my video of flying on Sunday on a demo wing and new GoPro camera

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xl_ERYppuu8

As soon as I hit the laminar wind at the top of the dune I was going backwards quickly and got rugby tackled to a stop. Thanks guys.

This wouldn't happen on my 13.5 bobcat. I want it now
Feel the fear and do it anyway!

Ha Hay nice one Mr Hurtle 8) . Like the skid marks on the grass hope they were they only ones! And will somebody tell Santa at the end to cheer up a bit (misserable Git) it is nearly Christmas you know, Ho Ho Hoo. :P

Don't fancy flying that site though, seems that when you land you get jumped on by the local flyers trying to blag a go on your wing :o Whats the crack first to touch the pilot gets first 'Bags' on it...

Hey Chris,
I'm sure you've "landed" in higher winds than that - maybe you should go get some skydiving done again - just to help tidy up the strong wind landings!!!! LoL

It's hard to be happy when you know you could be flying a Bobcat, but you don't have one!

You can tell how windy it was, it was bending his risers
See you out there!!!!!

Surf crazed and dazed

So what kind of wing was it since it wasn't your 15m Bobcat? I couldn't recognise it.
