Right behind Alnham is Hogdon Law --- Nice N easterly,
Further to your west behind alwinton is Lords Seat SSE,
To your East is East Hill and west Hill --- SE & NW,
If its SW you can fly Titlington pike :( near Powburn, But as John Wallis Says you are better Travelling to Cross Fell if its SW.

Thanks to everyone involved in the making of the comp, it was an excellent weekend. I camped at the Fox inn at Ousby (£5.00 a night) a cracking little site and a cracking pub with excellent meals. Lots of good crack with the locals and lots of beer, I really think we should make this our watering ho...

A bit uncalled for there Ronnie, what steve says is right though, big XC 's just dont happen from the cheviots. Mind you I still love them, and mileage done in the cheviots is worth far more than elswhere in my opinion.

The ear plugs are for when you are travelling with Gary after he's done an XC, and the lighter is used to set fire to yourself after you realise you forgot the earplugs.

You'll be out in no time gary, I'm pleased you are OK :) The wind was'nt full south when you landed (crashed) as Ron say's you had you're left wing low when you hit the wind gradient or dead air, this combined with the wind coming slightly from your right and the lift under your right wing meant you...

Thats really sad Wendy, hope it turns up --- I lost mine once (left it in the back lane when unloading) luckily I had my name address and Phone number on it, the next day someone Knocked on my door with it. It must be a good idea for everyone in the club to do this, it paid off for me.

I’ve thought of flying this new site for a few years now, but like a lot of things, I never seem to get round to doing it.
