Booked the same as Gary after searching all the options this is definitely the most cost effective, so we can probably fit in another person if they don't have to much gear. Our paragliding kit and luggage is quite big !

I think its a case of pre-planning to get good XC flights, getting out air maps, working out potential thermal sources and which slopes to work at the right time of day, figuring out out how to work the sea breeze if possible, and best time of year so the whole area isn't flooded by the sea breeze o...

John..............That sounds good to me and accomodates anyone setting out late but how about starting from the Radar Masts (as take off) for late arrivals? Its easy to access and avoids a long drive and walk to take off at High Cap, so atleast that way anyone turning up later in the day gets the b...

Ron I'd like to hear your thoughts on convergence and sea breeze and how we can use it to fly further in the Cheviots
What about doing that at the next meeting? or combining it with your Birdman presentation?

Ron............Really disappointed that my Go-Pro video didn't record the flight (I thought it had but mustn't have switched on) It would have been a good one to show the clouds of the sea breeze convergence below me and a very scenic flight along the coast These are the only photos I took when I la...
