pilot of the month

as we are in the winter season and often there is little flying do you think there is any real point to this for marginal flying? sometimes people are awarded this based on good comradeship as appose to out right flying. as for example at the weekend i seen Brian run back down the hill to carry john...

I think when there has been a good flight it has been rewarded however when it was a bit of ridge or less people have been rewarded it. Mad dog 3 times for ground handling let's be serious this was taken the piss not for his skills. Sometimes the pilot of the month could be the person who tried the ...

in regards to the power surge I don't think the sub-station was connected, after speaking with Dave he did not see to worried. if Mark had been seriously or fatal then it would have been a problem for them. may be worth asking experienced HG John Watson when he hit power lines as I think that was we...

I think with the autumn and winter flying it has been more a bout given it to anyone that managed to get flying rather than what it should be for. Outstanding flying etc but I think the pilot of the month is closer to the wooden spoon in golf

well as most know there was a serious incident with a very good outcome, however I don't think any of us know whet is the best plan of action if this is ever to happen to you hitten power lines. so think if we can get all the relevant information for the correct procedure then it will be a worth whi...

hownan is a great site indeed as it takes so many directions but when you cant drive u and you need to walk to the very top it is over 400m the same as walking to the top of Blease. today we got to the top and it seemed perfect and then the wind dropped away to nothing and never to return. however i...

Yes hownam is looking good though may blow out, however if it does then east hill is likely to be working. I think the morning will be the crucial point as if it is more south then i would favour the lakes and blease fell

Early days but saturday may be ok at summerwater

Ron running Whatsapp should not drain your battery anymore than any other app on your phone, though it will use up data when pictures are sent. So if you battery is draining then its more likely to be be something else on your phone using your battery
