Fuel stealth tax - Sign the petition

When VAT was temporarily reduced to 15%, the Chancellor added 2% duty to fuel to offset the reduction in tax collected from motorists. Now that VAT has been increased to 17.5% again this hidden tax has not been removed - hence recent rises in your fuel costs. Sign the petition at the link below to h...

Apparently there are NO legal requirements, at all, to fly a PPG PG PHG HG or any other foot launched craft! NO legal requirements to start a school teaching these activities either. I could start a school in the same way I could start a hairdresser's and start cutting hair.

Interesting stuff.

'taking off without permission' Is such a thing obtainable, who has any letter of consent from a land owner? and verbal means little, if the shit hits the fan, so to speek. Permission? no, not from me. Using commonsense and good manners will go a long way. Is this not what should be practiced and pr...

This is another one of those, "I am not responsible for my actions" again. Wings are sold over the internet by dealers, do they see any proof of qualifications before sending out? Is it there responsibility, I don't think so. Same as the car dealer who does not ask to see any proof of lice...

I think there's been a bit of a struggle before the vid starts and he's nearly finished by the time filming and help arrives, he may not have had an ounce of strength left. Never mind remove gloves, unbuckle completely and jump out before you hit the water so you are clear of the wing, see the lines...

If you forward it to 7 people a video comes on your screen

EMAIL READS This is the coolest thing I have ever received. All you have to do is send it to 7 people and watch your screen, it is the funniest clip. I can't tell you what it is but I was laughing so hard I almost fell off my chair!!! So, send it to those 7 people and watch. If you forward it to 7 p...

Do you know what is the funniest thing Steve? I am sure if you had a road traffic accident where someone ran in to the back of you, then you would be first in the queue for compensation. If I ever do so, you can be first in line to rub my nose in it. As is so often the case, people have black and w...

I thought I said; no, people should not be cajoled, persuaded or pitched too, to sue for anything they can to make a quick buck. Your not going to change my mind, nor am I interested in changing yours. Nor do we need to or be interested or waste our time trying to do so. I am however quite intereste...

If nothing has changed then whats this about, posted some time ago now.? Until the late 1990s, anyone who wanted to make a claim relating to personal injury law in the UK either had to pay expensive legal fees or seek help through the means-tested Legal Aid (now Public Funding) system. The funding o...

To full clarify so nothing can be spun, I agree with this; IT people are the equivalent of the little old man in The day of the Jackal, who designs the gun, makes it fit into the crutch, and then makes the mercury filled bullets. This does not give the right for someone to point it and kill someone,...

Progress?! I am getting the impression you really think that, lets hope this Lord can make a difference other wise we are truly f%$ked. I agree about the IT guys, but your argument is childish. I don't know the correct terms Alastair, in fact I know little about the full system. I have just come to know this practice as "no win no fee". What I do know is that this "claim blame" industry is crippling a great deal many of things to do with every aspect of your life and if...
