Well done Gary. Checked your flight and you managed to stay high the whole flight. Its years since I had a flight like that...infact it feels like years since I had an XC.

With the XC season nearly upon us, I was just wondering how everyone navigates. I use the old fashioned folded airmap, whichis great for the smaller XC, but a bit of a pain if you fly off the end of the fold. With all these intergrated vario/gps units available now, are there any that can store airm...

never had a problem with airmaps (except once when I had to remove the Northern England map from the map holder to read the Southern England map)
New airspace can be penned on and I only replace mine about every 5 years.

Heard of a microlight instructor that uses "Febreeze?" Its a fabric freshener available in a spray. most supermarkets should sell it. Might sting though
