I'm looking to run Xcsoar on a tablet aswell. Considering Galaxy tab 3 with a 5" screen. Anybody have any experience with readability in sunlight and operation with this tablet, or any other thoughts on devices out there?

Probably one of the most important pieces of kit but least talked about is gloves. I've never been able to find a really effective pair of gloves for longer flights. What do people use and what can you recommend, especially those that spend a long time in the air.
