Ive been to the last 2 and had a great time. Hope it's on again next year.

Doesn't mean to say we can't have other club events and bashes.

I'm always well up for a beach party 😎 And a fixed date club event on east hill or something. The world is our oyster 😃

I haven't been on skis since Xmas 2011! I'd be up for a snow holiday but all depends on when and for how long. I've booked up loads already and only got one week and one day left out of my June to June annual leave. Will watch this thread and see how it comes along.

Ron Don turned up at The Pheasant after the best flight of day at St Bees (aka Blease) :D I didn't know the lad who died but it was great to see suc...

I assume there will be an allowance for hand luggage as most of 20kg will go on the glider or are you adding extra luggage when booking?

Well done for organising this.
Yes hand luggage is allowed - but I need to check max weight.

Sounds good!

But can the club also consider some other fun type comps that lower airtime pilots can compete in equally?

The grasmere show highlights how accuracy and height gained, highest altitude comps etc are well attended, have a good day and are inclusive to all.

With 6 it looks like we have enough for a discount which is a bonus! I suppose the next step is to agree a date and book that week. The more the merrier - there's still space for 3 or 4 more so if anyone wants to add their name at a later date you are welcome. I'll take a shot at suggesting a date 2...
