Just thought that it was worth bringing this thread back to the top. Saturday was the first time I got to try the XC Soar on Android thing and, despite a couple of issues it worked really well.. A really good feature of it is that you can check the details of the airspace you are heading towards.......

The photo's demonstrate that classic conditions can occur even on overcast days... I didn't give the day enough credit until it was too late.....

I'm up for doing the repack course as well. Generally I agree with what is said above; that we should all be well versed on how to pack our reserves. Remember, it is not during the winter months in the comfort of the club meetings that we 'need' to know how to repack our reserves....it's when we are...
