Still a great flight Brian.
Sh1t happens and at least you were out flying and not stuck in changing smelly nappies.
You re 2nd in the league with only 1 flight.

Weather Fell Wave
I'm glad John put this honest account of the flying at Weather Fell. I thought I'd seen some posts from low airtimers thinking they'd missed out on a great day and kicking themselves. I hate to think of some poor red ribbon pilot on a DHV1 having a crack at that on Weather Fell. Most seemed to be fl...

came across this short video of a fella flying out of Peterlee international around the Durham coast on his Dragonfly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCLKaIUVZhY&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL There's a few other engine off flights on his YouTube channel. Horden even looks nice on a sunny day!...

I've flown once in about 14 months so I might as well have packed in. Fancied a go on the zip wire with my reserve and repacking the reserve is a bonus. My skills are pretty rusty to say the least. Been hoping for a few days at the coast to help sharpen my skills up. If I can't get out regularly the...

BOREDOM BUYING. Bought a full sus mountain bike that I still havent ridden off road and an Alpkit down jacket for the 'snow hell' the Met Office predicted. As yet unused due to lack of cold weather in the 2nd hottest Autumn ever recorded. Both will come in handy for some Bikepacking and Bivvying onc...

yeah I heard it on the TV that it was his first flight......in the himalayas (sounds better when you leave half of the truth out).
If it was his first flight I suspect he would have come down under the reserve anyway after flying a competition glider and pod harness on his EP course.

I'll Have a look Chris. I'm not great with computers so the uploading is proving to be a nightmare. The building with Joomla once I got the hang of it was quite easy but using Filezilla FTP client and all this php mysql is causing too much drama. I tried Noam but he installs servers and hadn't done ...

What a great ride with a nice bunch of people. I couldn't beleive it was Bill Scott in the tabbard at Tynemouth. He looked so respectable.
