Good choice John, I know for a fact that mad dog employed professional packers from the far eastern manufacturer each time the wing was folded, it was then taken and carefully stored in a climate controlled room at Miller Mansion and the take off area was carpeted before each take off. But---I have ...

I can do input on ground handling or hostage negotiation, I am far better at one of them than the other, thankfully. Please send the ransome now. But Bill's idea on foreign sites is a good'un. There must be a a lot of combined knowledge within the club to assist those considering a trip away and not...

The paragliding in wave reminded me of my Raleigh Run...

Anyone had a similar problem? it's tiring running up and down the stairs! ta t...

For those who may be on my Hotmail contact list (I'm not sure who 'cos I am locked out of my own account) rest assured I have not been mugged in Spain and desperate for money for the hotel bill. I am in fact still in Durham getting mugged everyday by the better half!

Just back from a week with Steve Ham and a good week it was, flew 5 of the 7 available days (could have done the other 2 with a bit more experience). Steve did his best to get you flying as often as possible and although the main take off is a dusty place the astro turf should be sorted soon. Accomm...

Geneva
In the hope of getting some time off in September, whats the easiest most economic way of flying from Newcastle to Geneva with your paragliding gear?
Radio
I am after a radio, so what are the recommendations? Just the usual wants, small, light, good battery life, decent range, not one that needs some work by fat fingers and a soldering iron, and preferably with a bullshit filter! Sorry about the weather, it was me, finished a paragliding CP conversion ...
