The accident happened on halsfell near to our house! The ridge faces sse, PGers were flying Bewaldeth and Jenkins and were stood down as it was rough and blown out!

Hi guys..... just in case you don't know the LCC will be at Grasmere next year and will be in July, as a flying comp.
The Butteremere Bash will still be going ahead on the normal weekend for those who want to Party.

Welcome to the club... Great folk in this club, have been a member nearly 10 years.....though now live in Keswick, my roots are in NHPC.

Great stuff John.... And yes now we need some good weather so hope the weather gods get there act together!

I put it down to not understanding my new gps thingy, & not activate the task, so eye balled it all! Oh and I had never flown my new wing... Delta 2.... Straight out the bag!! So was quite pleased with myself having never been to Helvellyn and back too.. Also winds had picked up when I got back ...

Got a pop up gazebo we could bring...tho not entirely water proof!!

Anyone fancy a trip to Steve Hamm's place, £400ish inc accom/some meals/guiding/retrieves, we've just booked a week leaving Sun 8 Aug, flights we got from Liverpool to get there for an evening soar/flight? we have 2 spaces in car to airport.
