Does anybody look at this board anymore? N0 I don't think so....as much as I like Colin, And appreciate the time and effort that he has put into it...I just happen to think that something has been spoiled along the way...and the board that we had encouraged people to put their thoughts into words th...

Here is the news.....That's your lot......For you comrade....your summer of indifferent flying is all over.....time to go back to hearth and home....draw the curtains....find that feather quill and green tinted ink jar...... 'Twas a year of misfortune....the crops had failed.... But....you must have...

saturday the 9th could just be flyable

well looking at the forecasts it looks like Saturday could be fine for flying even moneylaws or even Hownam. I think there maybe quite a few options as Model ridge lakes could be on, so you have to grab every chance before the really grim weather comes are way

yes it would be good to see more activity and using WhatsApp purely once the flying is arranged. the reason being, on WhatsApp is very easy to miss valid posts by skipping through and you rarely go back up to posts.

cheers Gary

Well.....I thought that this year had gone pretty well so far, until it dawned on me that the only reason it has appeared to have gone well is perhaps because it has been such a shit year for the proper pilots and my services as a forelock tugging retrieve driver have not been needed so much.....and...

Another year over, another year older, and very little on the horizon other than high winds and bucketfuls of rain.....makes you wonder doesn't it? Why can't a brand new year start in the middle of June, when you can wake up with sunshine streaming through the window, and the promise of success thro...

Well…It was a van load of happy feet on the way back home from Clough Head on Saturday….even though a little earlier it hadn’t been so much a van, more a council rubbish collecting wagon, picking up the trash wherever it had landed down the road to Windermere, and even a little bit further…and I’m m...

Can't quite make my mind up about yesterdays flying at Wether Fell.....To say that you were enjoying yourself, and couldn't imagine a nicer way to fill your day in would be slightly untruthful.... That little bit of flying on East Hill on Friday afternoon has done wonders for me...Why...I almost broke into a smile in the car on the way home. If every day of this coming flying season turns out to be like yesterday, than I for one will be a happy man.
