Yes good plan, today did about 3.5 hrs great in am but not nice late on

Tandem paramotor looks like a laurel and hardy classic. , I'll have to get some video of it from Parafest

Ppg trip from Berwick around holy island and back, nice jaunt. Still flyable in between drizzle

If you need to repack your reserve your welcome to do it at my work , I think I remember most of what ron taught us!

it was a last minute thing, i did nt realise there was any other pilots locally- will let you know when we do it again

thanks again Ron Freeman for coming all the way up to Berwick for the repack evening with Derek M, Derek P Tom and me. i learnt so much and i think we all feel more confident with reserves now.

I flew ppg for few hours around Berwick, after the fog cleared but it was rough. Lots of lenticulars around

forecast keeps changing, i thought there was going to be a high over uk with v light winds, rasp says different so does xc weather, ??
was planning a ppg dash south along coast

Yes there's a few sites up here, the main site is a quagmire 4x4 run to get up to but it's the highest point around so great to judge the wind, let me know if your coming up and we can plan a flight

Turned out good in the end, 3hrs flying, smooth0-800ft rough above and pockets of rain, few gusts.

Flyable but only just low cloud and some drizzle been for a quick blast

saturday looks to be a possible ppg day depending on vis and cloud/rain westerly river run to kelso and back or trip to holyisland

as a returning pilot i think the biggest barrier to entry to paragliding is support not equipment . if the club loans out harnesses and wings it will be accepting some liability re airworthiness and will face recurring costs for servicing etc. radios are £20 vario £100 gps/ data logger - already on y ...
