thanks again Ron Freeman for coming all the way up to Berwick for the repack evening with Derek M, Derek P Tom and me. i learnt so much and i think we all feel more confident with reserves now.

forecast keeps changing, i thought there was going to be a high over uk with v light winds, rasp says different so does xc weather, ??

Yes there's a few sites up here, the main site is a quagmire 4x4 run to get up to but it's the highest point around so great to judge the wind, let me know if your coming up and we can plan a flight

as a returning pilot i think the biggest barrier to entry to paragliding is support not equipment . if the club loans out harnesses and wings it will be accepting some liability re airworthiness and will face recurring costs for servicing etc. radios are £20 vario £100 gps/ data logger - already on y ...
