Thanks

Cheers Guys,
Sorry Brian - I got swamped with work and moving house type things - I'll give you a ring shortly! Also thanks to Mehdi, would be great but apparently the BHPA has just tightened up on the requirements so I need an approved pilot to help me out and build up the logbook,

Tandems

Hi folks, Are there any BHPA qualified tandem pilots in the club that would be happy to do some flying with me as part of the run up to my qualification? I did a fair bit a while back but it was all unofficial. I need to get some pointers and brush up on techniques and basically have a few flights w...

What's the row about? Isn't Gary saying enter as whatever club you want in the NXCL, it doesn't matter. BUT on this forums league if you are a NHPC member and want your flights counted for the tin pots then make sure you have NHPC as your club in your profile. It makes his job so much easier than co...

If you want the distances the best thing you can do is learn to predict the best hill for the day. Then tell Gary where it is and get him to drive you there. You'll get it wrong occasionally, you'll bomb out at 20 km occasionally but to learn XC you have to just keep trying. You've all got the skill...

Boring soaring is over - the season has started! Thank God.

Lovely day at Tinto yesterday with 4 pilots at clowdbaste and going over the back - lovely, lovely, lovely. No great distances but the promise is there again :)

I even got a lift back to the car.....

Lucky you teachers can afford it Brian :P The skiing in Scotland had been fab - last friday at Avimore was the best conditions I've ever seen. Yesterday at Glenshee was superb too, we skied until Dave cried for mercy - superb, make the trip up! Hopefully Avimore will be back up to speed now they've ...

Doesn't look that bad Gordie, boring flying but no rules broken?

The other video of the death spiral into the ground is amusing - no depth perception with all the snow on the ground in Bishop's bottom landing field.

Gaz - I don't know if that is aimed at me or Gordie? If it's me then yes I take responsibility for my actions, there's no-one else up there to take the hit for you?! My comments about airmanship and acro were not aimed at you directly! You praise RC for his skills and I agree a hugely skilled pilot....
