Been a while mate, thanks for the reply I appreciate it. I ended up getting a Garmin VivoSport tracks accurately & also has a Altimeter/Barometer, not top of the range but tracks my runs etc. See how it gets on once I (hopefully) get out flying in 2018.

I'm looking at buying a smart/sport watch It's NOT to try & replace my vario etc but just to track exercise, I was wondering if any of you have one? I was going to get the Garmin FR235 but it doesn't have a Altimeter.

Thanks, it was really good taking the risk away from the hill to land were Di & the kids were. I must admit I didn't think I'd make it, but thanks to a nice thermal & speed bar I did.

Likewise had a great day, although I had more fear jumping off for the zip wire than taking off some big hills, good news is the reserve opened both times.
It was good to put faces to names as well.

Finally thanks for all the help re-packing my reserve especially to Patrick.
