Hi Phil!

And welcome to our club.....

The best place to look for info on Hangliding is the BHPA website, www.bhpa.co.uk

As for schools, look no further than Northumbria Airsports.... the details are on our home page, at the bottom right. It is run by the "Bognor Birdman" Ronnie Freeman.

Blease was not the place to be yesterday..... far to far of to the East.

The wind in the lakes was all over the place. Bewaldeth was NE, Blease ESE, and Souter no wind for ages.

Souter was the place to be from about 3 onwards.

Flying Saturday

looks like a classic day for Blease fell on Saturday, with very light SSE forecast.

Anyone else fancy the trip?

I may be able to drive over this evening and camp.... give me a ring in the morning if you want a weather update.

What did he do wrong? Simple.... not enough outside break.... When doing wingovers you have to keep a lot of pressure in the outside tip... otherwise it will collapse. In fact once you get a lot of energy into the wing, the wingover is controlled almost exclusively by weight shift. There is still so...

11pm here in Brazil, and an early ish night for a change. The weather is still by no means brilliant, and indeed today we nearly cancelled the trip up the mountain because the forecast was so bad.
