spoke to ali and he said neil did about 30k and ali did about 90k landing at pontefract because he was unsure of air space around doncaster. but he said it looked like it was a possible site record day (145k) if he had managed to find and stay in the doncaster gap. top effort none the less and well ...

re mike
i understand your point mike but wether you or i or anyone else thinks the lady at the bottom is a bit over the top or just down right unreasonable. is rather irrelevant, its her land and she decides who if anyone at all fly's there so the bottom line is, abide by the rules or fly else where as this...

well with my wife due to give birth to our first child in 4 weeks, at this moment i would settle for just getting out. but that is probably lacking ambition and as i now have a nice shiny new wing it would be a shame to leave it in the cupboard. so for 2009 some good weather, some good crac, and som...

are you as good as the glider you fly? who knows, everyone is different. we all do what we are comfortable with. but the problem isn't a height one, its not even a problem at all. the real trick is to fly the optimum wing at the maximum of your abilities and no further to get the maximum enjoyment. ...

there has been an awful lot of rubbish written and spoken about the events of the weekend in the press. very little has been said of the individuals responsibility, no one held a gun to there head and made them compete. if you fly in a competition you are told the responsibility to fly when a task i...
