No problem bud!

Took me a while to find out where the £5 thing had come from!

The facebook page isn't actually an official source of info.......we're working on that for the future!

No we don't......where did you get that from? Coaching is really only open to CSC members, visiting pilots can tag along by arrangement (ie if you are up for a week from Devon you wouldn'y have to join to tag along, but you would need to contact us before hand). The main reason is we where getting u...

After a 3 year lay off I'd stay clear of the Mentor II. They aren't "cheap" and pretty hot for an EN B. Go for something more midrange EN B! Buzz Z, Sprint, Sprint Evo, Rush II or III, Epsilon (5 or 6) etc. Or why not a nice lightweight set up? Geo II etc.....10kg for glider, harness and r...

These type of vario are a bit old hat now.
Would say spend less (simpler unit) or spend more (integrated GPS).
The external GPS thing was popular 10 years ago, but the modern integrated unit are simpler to use.

There' Dino Mitts, used to be made by System X. Sadly now defunked. Just bit the bullet and ordered some heated glove liners. Not cheap but hopefully sorting out my winter and spring. 4 to 6 hours of warmth! http://warmthru.com/acatalog/G3_Heated_Gloveliners-_grey.html I'll let you know how they are.

Having your own business doesn't guarantee being able to fly when you want Jill. :(

Helen Gant and Richard Westgate both have jobs.

Who you work for is irrelevant, it's flexibilty, longer holidays (teaching?), or shift work that's needed.

Glenn it cannot be an urban myth since I know (and you possibly know as well) one Cumbria pilot who has been badly hurt assisting a ppg launch. Sorry but as you point out props are dangerous, there have been accidents to both pilots and assisters over the years. Though the word "usually" s...

Glenn, with all due respect, I really don't feel the need to defend my view that unguarded paramotor props are a bad idea. Surely it's the other way around? A quick scan here http://www.bhpa.co.uk/members/safety/incidents/index.php?filter=PPG show a number of accident involving caged props, I cannot...

I'll bow to your superior knowledge then.........I was incorrect to say having an unguarded prop is in any way a danger, they are completely safe. I imagined those accidents.

Glenn...if it's total crap about the concerns of an ungarded prop how come there have been a number of horrific accidents with caged paramotors already? Usually bystanders :???:

Don't want to sound like someones dad, but uncaged paramotors, petrol or electric are a bad idea.......

Not so sure.....1/2 run time will limit the market. Great for getting up once or a low save, but not so good if you want to paramotor.

Don't see a massive drop in price of used used cars as people move over to electic ones!

Glad you've been getting out.
The flying in Norma is supposed to be excellent!

The Mentor 2 does sound like an amazing machine. Great performance, perhaps a tad hot (for a 1/2), and good handling. Could have been expensive demoing one of those!

See you before too long
