Hi All, I see that my accident has sparked quite a discussion... Firstly just to let you know I am recovering at home. I have a fracture of my T12 vertebrae and an elbow that needed a plate to put it back together. Currently in a body brace during the day. I should have full movement of the elbow af...

Polite reminder

I would remind everyone that MODEL RIDGE is currently at risk. We have had quite a few non members accessing and flying model ridge. We have, once again, been asked by the land owner to make sure everyone flying model ridge are members of the NYSC and have current BHPA membership. Please could you f...

John,

I got one recently, due to being too fat for my old wing, and I love it. Stress free flying and great performance. I fly a large at 122kg all up. Did my PB on my first flight on it. :) Wasn't shamed against the hot ships at the Nationals, kept up with a small Mantra M4 on long glide.

Ron, I'm afraid I can't take any glory for this, most of the hard work over the past few years has been done by John Lewis our sites officer. My understanding is that as part of the agreement there are strict rules regarding keys for the gate and we have to ensuring people who fly are aware of where...

Carlton Bank - now Members Only

I have not seen anything on your forum, you may already be aware but if not: Due to new arrangement with the land owners, Carlton Bank is now a NYSC members only site. After a massive effort over the past few years we have once again gained access to the road up and the takeoff. So please join and s...

Steve I'm with you. They all frighten the sh*t out of me, caged or not. Particularly when operated by uninsured people "training" on busy sites near members of the public. Got that off my chest  I've got it, fit it with a 10M long prop and I'd have a go. Maybe you could have it unders...

The toys just keep getting better

Here is one for those days when you can't fly. How about a radio controlled plane with real time video feed to you on the ground. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrm3eqh9Yjk RC now doesn't look quite so dull. PG forum link if you haven't already seen it. http://www.paraglidingforum.com/viewtopic.php?...
